About me

Mergim' portait with a kangaroo

My name's Mergim Esati. I am 1.70 meter tall, I weigh 68 kilograms and I was born in 1992 in a small city in Switzerland. I am brown-haired and green-eyed. Furthermore, I'm a 32 years old guy.

I'm a full-time IT systems engineer, but not self-employed. I finished my apprenticeship in 2013. Not only that, but I also studied further toward IT security, system administration, support and project management, and I finished my higher education in 2016. I've done a few Microsoft, Cisco, Citrix and Amazon Web Services certifications.

I love doing sports - especially walking and running. Spending time in nature by hiking through forests and up mountains is one of my favourite things to do in my free time. I'm a passionate photographer. I love travelling and taking pictures of great cities, fancy buildings and of mother nature's beauty. My travel destinations are usually within Europe's borders, but I also love travelling abroad. My favourite destinations have been Sydney and Tokyo so far.

Photography

As a dedicated photographer with a penchant for city skylines and landscapes, I find myself continually drawn to the dynamic interplay of urban architecture and the serene majesty of natural vistas. In the bustling streets of cities, I seek out unique perspectives and vantage points to capture the vibrant energy and intricate details that define each skyline. From the gleaming spires of skyscrapers to the bustling activity below, I strive to convey the essence of urban life through my lens.

Similarly, when exploring landscapes, I immerse myself in the tranquility of nature, patiently waiting for the perfect moment to capture the awe-inspiring beauty of mountains, valleys, and coastlines. Whether it's the soft glow of sunrise over a tranquil lake or the dramatic colors of sunset casting a warm hue over rugged terrain, I aim to evoke a sense of wonder and appreciation for the natural world.

Through my photography, I endeavor to transport viewers to these diverse and captivating environments, inviting them to experience the rich tapestry of human civilization and the breathtaking wonders of nature. Each image tells a story, inviting viewers to pause, reflect, and find beauty in the world around them.
